Paul Kern (NK4P) longtime supporter and past Board Member/ Club President of ARTS in the mid-to late1990’s, has two radios he wishes to sell. Due to the high cost of shipping, I am offering a local pick-up discount of 10% off our negotiated prices. Additionally, I will offer another 5% discount to any recently newly licensed amateur radio operator including recent upgrades in the last 6 months in license class. I have recently upgraded my mobile (Icom 2730) and base station (Powerwerx DB750) 144 MHz/440 MHz transceivers, so these two units are looking for good homes.
1) IC-2730...................................................................$280.
The Icom IC-2730A is a dual-band VHF/UHF mobile amateur radio transceiver delivering up to 50 watts of RF output on both the 2-meter and 70-centimeter bands. It comes with a power cord, microphone, pre-programmed for many Louisville area local repeater frequencies, an RT Systems Programming cable (NOTE – no programming software is included as you will need to purchase it separately), a suitable remote cable for separating the control head from the main unit for mobile operation, and an electronic owner’s manual on a USB drive. I bought these items new from GIGAPARTS in 2021 at one time. I used them initially for 3-6 months before purchasing another radio. They were used inside only in a non-smoking and no pet environment. The 718 includes the power cable w/Power Pole connectors, manual and the mic. I do not have the boxes for them. I used the 718 on 03/04 and it worked flawlessly.
